The National Placement Evaluation Centre (NPEC) supports high-quality clinical placements for nursing and midwifery students across Australia. Owned and managed by Health Education Services Australia (HESA), NPEC collects and analyses placement feedback to drive improvements in clinical education. Our evaluation tools and insights help educators and clinical placement providers enhance learning experiences for their students.

Data Access
If you are an educator or provider of clinical placements to tertiary level nursing and midwifery students in Australia, please register for data access and we will email you once access to your evaluation data is setup and ready to share with your students.
Placement Evaluation Tools (PET)
NPEC’s PETs provide a platform for students and supervisors to evaluate the educational quality of clinical placements in Australia. When education and clinical placement providers register a QR code and weblink is provided to distribute the PETs to students and supervisors.
